We're bidding farewell to a legendary guitarist. Duane Eddy was a rock and roll pioneer who made his debut in the 1950s. Eddy paved the way for a new generation of guitarists by focusing on the bass strands on the guitar versus the high ones on hits like "Rebel Rouser." During his career, Duane sold more than 100 million records and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994. He died of cancer on Tuesday in Franklin, Tennessee. Duane Eddy was 86.

A man is under arrest in Grand Island, Nebraska, for theft from a restaurant. He's accused of stealing cash... and a pie. Michael Markentin is accused of taking nearly 180 dollars in cash and a coconut crème pie from Shady Bend Café on Highway 30. Grand Island Police say they found brass knuckles and a steak knife without a handle on him during his arrest.

NBCUniversal is attempting to make a deal to once again air NBA games, and, if it does so, it will be able to buy back the rights to "Roundball Rock." That's the theme song from "NBA on NBC" in the '90s. "Roundball Rock" was written by John Tesh, former co-host of "Entertainment Tonight" and a one-time news anchor for Channel 9 in Orlando. Tesh told CNBC a licensing deal with Fox for the song doesn't preclude another media company from using it for NBA games. According to The Wall Street Journal, NBC Universal made an offer that averages out to two-point-five billion dollars per year for the NBA rights.

An early 80s "supergroup" is announcing a U.S. summer tour. Asia burst onto the rock scene in 1982 with its self-titled debut album, which spent nine weeks atop the Billboard 200 album chart. The original lineup consisted of Yes members Geoff Downes and Steve Howe, John Wetton of King Crimson, and Emerson, Lake and Palmer drummer Carl Palmer. Downes is the lone remaining original member of the band. The "Heat of the Moment" tour hits 21 cities during the month of July. They'll play Orlando's Hard Rock Live on July 20th.

Well before the release of Taylor Swift's new album, "The Tortured Poets Department," we told you on Elsewhere that one of the tracks was titled "Florida!!!" That's Florida with three exclamation points. Taylor is explaining her inspiration for the song, saying she noticed on TV shows like "Dateline" that people who did bad things would inevitably skip town and head to Florida to start a new life. One of the lyrics: "Florida is one hell of a drug." Swift co-wrote and recorded the song with the group Florence + The Machine.
